The script that started it all. My partner Matt and I stayed up many nights at this diner working on this screenplay. It breaks all the rules. Got me noticed, got me an agent or two, got a tiny bit of hype on the Black List. It’s a 5 Act Comedy with a table of contents. So yeah.
Logline: A fresh-faced screenwriter learns the dark insides of Hollywood when a desperate producer and his hungry director attach a washed-up and drug addicted child star to the writer's first screenplay. 163pg.
My buddy, Justin, and I had been kicking around this Nancy Drew Legacyquel since the early days of college. It’s crude, crass, and way over the top. But truly so much fun to write (and read).
Logline: Back in her hometown to solve a grisly murder, Nancy is quickly overwhelmed with friends, family, and a plucky nuisance named Encyclopedia Brown. 99pg.
It always felt weird that Lil Dicky got a show on FX that became the Atlanta of LA, while Vince Staples, a far more talented and engaging rapper, was relegated to a web series.
Logline: Vince, bedridden with Covid, wakes up to learn that his doppelganger has shot down Lil Dicky in the streets. 5pgs.
